Just 12 hours after the General Assembly s legislative session came to a close, Gov. Larry Hogan signed 66 bills into law.
Tuesday s bill signing ceremony included legislation on telehealth, broadband access and reforms to the Maryland Environmental Service. The governor has acted on all the bills that have come to his desk. More signing ceremonies will follow in the coming weeks.
“I want to thank our presiding officers and legislators on both sides of the aisle for their hard work over the past 90 days,” Hogan said. “This has truly been the most successful and bipartisan session since I became governor. Together, we are sending a clear message to Marylanders that we can work in a bipartisan fashion and deliver real results.”
