New ASU student housing to be ready for upcoming fall semester

ASU’s Downtown Phoenix campus’s new residential community will be opening in time for the Fall 2021 semester.
Taylor Place was the only dorm facility on the Downtown Phoenix campus since its opening in 2008.. All first-year freshmen on the Downtown Phoenix campus are expected to live in Taylor Place. Luckily, Fillmore on First will provide students with another housing option.
This new option has many students excited for another housing option to be available.

Aisha Morales is no stranger to early mornings but having weekends off, that s new territory.
After nearly five years as the weekend morning anchor at WBAY-TV, Morales is making the move to weekdays. She joins Tammy Elliott, Kathryn Bracho and meteorologist Steve Beylon for “Action 2 News This Morning” from 4:30 to 7 a.m.
The announcement made on Monday comes after Kevin Rompa, the station’s original morning anchor of 32 years, retired in March.
Like Rompa, Morales will also anchor the noon newscast. Her role also will have her eventually stepping into duties with the station’s social digital desk.
For the time being, viewers will see her here, there and everywhere. She’s currently on “Action 2 News This Morning” and the noon newscast on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and will continue to anchor Saturday and Sunday mornings until a replacement is hired. She’ll then move full-time Monday through Friday.
