Cameron Williams, from Bagillt, Flintshire, was initially sceptical of a video he saw online of a fellow social media user bringing new life out of a shop-bought egg. Eager to see if there was any truth behind the clips, he went and picked up a pack of free-range duck eggs from the nearest Waitrose store and purchased an incubation unit online. The 24-year-old was stunned when - after a month of waiting - a duckling hatched in his bedroom. He said: “Like a lot of people were doing in lockdown, I was scrolling through TikTok and came across this video of someone hatching a duckling from an egg.

Some people say if you walk down main street in Sturgis during the night or day you will find it to be magical and joyous, said Karen Rose, town resident and decorator.
