Baxter s Mum Dawn told Liverpool Crown Court of being advised that Baxter would not recover and refusing to turn off his life support
The next day, he blinked, beginning a painful recovery that continues today
She said Baxter still struggles with coming to terms with his injuries, which she said have caused a change in his personality and confidence
