Police: Berlin man killed in motorcycle crash in Meriden

MERIDENÂ â A Berlin man died after the motorcycle he was driving crashed into a stone wall on Hanover Road on Tuesday.Â
Police responded to the area of 809Â Hanover Rd. around 11 p.m. Tuesday, police spokesman Sgt. Michael Boothroyd said in a release. Officers identified Joshua Stefanko, 25, of Berlin as the driver of a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle, Boothroyd said.Â
Stefanko had traumatic injuries when police arrived and was pronouced dead at the scene. The motorcycle has heavy damage. Police investigating determined while Stefanko was going around a slight right curve he lsot control of the motorcycle for an unknown reason. The motorcycle crossed over the double yellow line, slid and eventually struck a stone wall, Boothroyd said.Â
