Staff Writer LISBON The county Business Advisory Council was awarded Ohio’s 2021 Business-Education Leader Award for Excellent Business Advisory Council. Specifically, the council was recognized for excellence in developing professional skills for the future and excellence in building partnerships. Superintendent Anne Marie Vaughn announced the award at Tuesday’s Educational Service Center board meeting, She said the council was also honored as a four-star advisory council, making it one of two to be honored out of 120 across the state. “We’re very, very pleased, we have a great business advisory council and they do a phenomenal job,” Vaughn said. Board president Richard Stoudt added, “Those people do work hard, and I know I’m speaking for the board and you have our congratulations for this award and to the fact they continue to do excellent work and we know they’ll do more in the future. Coshocton County schools participate in coronavirus vaccination clinic

Coshocton County schools participate in coronavirus vaccination clinic MVHC administered first round Friday at Coshocton High School Mushkingum Valley Health Centers held a COVID-19 vaccination clinic Friday at Coshocton High School. About 450 doses were given to staff of Coshocton City, River View, Ridgewood, Career Center, Sacred Heart and Opportunity School. The second dose will be given at a similar style clinic in four weeks. MVHC will also be receiving about 500 doses for general administration in the county next week. COSHOCTON - Schools have been one of the areas most disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and a major step was taken Friday to return to some sort of normalcy regarding in-person instruction.
