Neptune spuds second Adorf well in Germany
Neptune Energy has spudded the Adorf Z16 gas development well in northwest Germany, its second borehole targeting the Adorf Carboniferous gas field, the company announced on April 19.
A rig operated by KCA Deutag is drilling the well, which is expected to reach a final depth of around 3,400 m in August this year. Neptune discovered the Adorf Carboniferous last year, bringing its first well AdorfZ15 into production in November.
