Itâs been a holiday season unlike any other, and yet one thing remained the same: I found myself short on both time and motivation to work out. I was intent on making things merry and bright for my 4-year-old twins, all while anxiously watching our cityâs COVID cases rise at a terrifying rate. I started hoovering cookies and hot cocoa like it was my job.
An array of new holiday items are coming to
Animal Crossing: New Horizons, available from Nook Shopping, according to a new tweet on the game’s official Twitter account.
After Turkey Day, Toy Day and all the new activities that come with a winter update,
Animal Crossing is bringing more items to its in-game store. The latest update was previewed on Twitter by the NPC Isabelle, who encouraged fans to “get those orders in ASAP”.

Throughout this undeniably terrible year, pockets of levity provided a brief respite from the bleakness. The chief arbiter of joy in 2020? Xiao Qi Ji, the National Zoo’s baby panda. January
The year began auspiciously with a lack of baby pandas in Washington. We had just bid bon voyage to Bei Bei as he embarked for China via the Panda Express, leaving behind a bear-shaped hole in our city’s heart. Could 2020 get any worse?
I know this is the time of year when I am supposed to be full of cheer - and where my writing reflects such merriment.

I wish ⦠that Americans will stop politicizing the pandemic, and work together to end the Coronavirus Conundrum. As we know, those on Santaâs naughty list donât get presents. Since thatâs a pretty straightforward proposition - bad behavior begets coal - no one with an ounce of common sense should expect good things when they break the rules. Yet millions of Americans think just the opposite, believing that they shouldnât be penalized for deliberate infractions.
It s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and sound a lot like Thanksgiving.
The leadup to Turkey Day is the last time Gov. Phil Murphy called on Garden State residents to keep holidays gatherings at their homes small even mandating a limit of 10 people at an indoor gathering by executive order, while conceding it would be difficult to enforce in private homes.
Now, Murphy is again calling on all Garden State residents to keep get-togethers small for Christmas and New Year celebrations.
