Voeks was about to wrap up his surfing session, but decided to stay for one more wave. That s when the owner of the dog pleaded with Voeks to help the dog and the man in the water. She told him that her aide had jumped in after the dog in an attempt to rescue it. Voeks was able to use his surfboard to help swim both the person and the dog to shore.
