‘Souper Aid’, and is inspired by this year s Christian Aid Week ‘
Every last drop’ appeal. It contains a collection of soup recipes interspersed with prayers, reflections and poems which have been contributed by a variety of people from across North Norfolk.
Florence and
Rose, both Kenyans, who feature in the
Christian Aid campaign. Their respective communities have been adversely affected by extreme weather, attributed to the effects of climate change. Torrential rain has swept away newly planted crops of maize and beans, and this has been followed by periods of prolonged drought.

A BBC TV presenter spent almost six hours rescuing vehicles â including an ambulance on an emergency call â that became stuck in heavy snow near Fressingfield last week.
Mark Thompson, author and co-presenter of the BBCâs Stargazing Live, had responded to East Anglian Ambulance Serviceâs appeal for people with 4x4 vehicles to be on call to help stuck vehicles, as much of Norfolk was blanketed with snow.
On the evening of Sunday February 7, he was called into action after a paramedic, who was driving a regular car, became stuck in Fressingfield.
