HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - On the same day that the Rainbow Warriors volleyball team jumped up to the No. 1 spot in college volleyball, three âBows were chosen for Big West Conference Player of the Week â sweeping the three awards.
Senior Colton Cowell was named player of the week, Senior Rado Parapunov grabbed defensive player of the week and Spyros Chakas took home freshman of the year after going on a 4-0 sweep of UC Irvine and UC San Diego last week.

HONOLULU, Hawaii (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Rainbow Wahine softball team continued their dominance over Chaminade on Sunday, knocking off the Silverswords in a 6-2 exhibition victory at Rainbow Wahine Softball Stadium.
The two-game series was cut to one game due to inclement weather, as the ‘Bows stormed ahead in game one thanks to junior Nawai Kaupe’s three-run bomb to start the bottom of the first inning finishing her day going 2-for-2 with a walk, 6-for-7 and six runs batted in the whole series.

A group of Toronto residents is raising money to repair Toronto s well-known rainbow tunnel mural after someone marked it with a huge tag. The Rainbow Tunnel has been tagged. Again! Our gratitude goes to the original artist BC Johnson and local community members for making Mural Routes aware of this, reads a page where organization Mural Routes is taking donations to help with the repairs. Mural Routes has taken responsibility for keeping the Rainbow Tunnel in good condition, with support from the City of Toronto. In the past, we have covered the expenses associated with repairs which come out of our own operating budget.
