Top 10 Athletes that Played at CSU
We all know that Colorado State University has racked up a lot of accomplishments in the lab, on the sports field and in the classroom. But today, I want to focus on some of the greatest sportsmen and women who’ve come out of the college – And there are a lot of them. It doesn’t even matter that that we haven’t won a showdown against a particular gold-and-black school since 2014, because these athletes have been killing the game since the 1930s.
First off, we have the indomitable Glenn Morris, the namesake of the field house located on the eastern end of campus. According to CSU’s 150-year-celebration website, Morris was naught but a farm boy from Simla, a tiny town tucked in southeastern Colorado when he first arrived at CSU. But never one to start small, Morris was already performing in both track and football before deciding to dedicate himself to not just two, but ten sports as an American decathlete. WORLD NEWS 2020 – The Year in Review
JANUARY
• An estimate 25,000 people converge on Manhattan’s Foley Square and make their way to Brooklyn’s Cadman Plaza, chanting “No Hate, No Fear,” where they hear from community leaders and organizations urging Jewish pride and unity in the face of escalating antisemitism. The march is in response to the steep rise in incidents of violence against Jews in New York City.
• James Harris, chair of the education committee of the Montclair, N.J. branch of the NAACP, slams Chassidic Jews at the town’s community forum, saying that he went to Jersey City “and I see these folks in long black suits and curly lots.”

Audrey DaDamio is the 2020 Michigan Division I cross country champion and state Meet of Champions winner. She was fifth overall at the AAU national cross country championships (15-18 age group) last week with the No. 6 high school time ever recorded at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida. She is the Michigan Indoor Track Series state meet record holder in the 3,200 meters (10:24.78) and has won six regional and three Oakland County titles in track and cross country. DaDamio is the granddaughter of Olympic speed skating champion Terry McDermott and sister of Notre Dame distance All-American Rachel DaDamio.
