Planting her ski poles into the hard snow and pushing off with one foot and then the other, Emily Cameron’s skis glide forward as she propels herself through Wascana Park.
The wind chill of -32 C doesn’t scare the 86-year-old away from the sport she loves. Bundled up in a warm jacket, snow pants, large mittens, fleece headband and toque, her laughter rings through the air as she proclaims she isn’t cold at all.
