Inflatable waterpark course now open at Madge Lake

On location at Madge Lake in Duck Mountain Provincial Park, Site Manager Nick and Site Supervisor James, along with their team, are officially open and ready to welcome guests to try out the water play course. Open seven days a week during the months of July and August between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Aquatic Adventures will be offering 13 on-water challenges for adventure seekers. Locally owned and operated out of Regina, Aquatic Adventures manages a total of seven water play apparatus centres located at various lakes across the province. Visitors aged five and up are invited to run, slide, jump, swim, splash and bounce on the inflatable water-play courses which are anchored just off the beaches at popular lake destinations across Saskatchewan.

Reeve of the Municipality of Mossey River Ron Kostyshyn says the wildfire situation basically started on Sunday. “We’ve had a major increase in fires in the Mossey River Municipality and the Mountain South Municipality. The R.M. of Ethelbert has been subject to a numerous amount of fires to the point where the fire department was having their challenges keeping up.” Kostyshyn said. Two major fires in the area includes a 12-thousand 590 hectare fire about 12-kilometres northwest of Winnipegosis, and a 12-thousand 970 hectare fire about one-and-a-half kilometres north of Ethelbert.
