Spring Break is an exciting time for a lot of people. This year that mini vacation is looking a bit different for some people. Many universities aren t having an actual spring break due to fears of an upwards spring in COVID cases, but there still is a possibility of some good times ahead.
Of course the COVID vaccine is actually getting distributed, but also the city of Waterloo is offering up quite a few different things to do to celebrate the change in season.

Low Income Families Can Receive Discounted Admission at C.V. Museums
discounted ticket that is. Two of our area s treasures, have partnered with the national
Museums for All an access program for low-income families.
According to a press release: the Grout Museum District and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum are announcing that they have joined the program to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. The Phelps Youth Pavilion-Waterloo Center for the Arts will also be a part of the program once it reopens.
The
Museums for All program supports those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits visiting these attractions for a minimal fee of $2.00 per person, up to four people, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.
