“Are we very clear on that?” Auger asked.
“Yeah, I understand,” DeJonge-Vandusen replied.
DeJonge-Vandusen is one of five suspects in a Jan. 26 shooting on Harvey Street in Chatham that sent two people a 37-year-old man and 17-year-old male to hospital with gunshot injuries. A third person was shot at, but not wounded, and a dog was shot and killed, Chatham-Kent police said.
Suspect Brianna Gardiner, 18, of Cambridge, was arrested by Waterloo Regional police Jan. 27. She was previously released on bail.
A 17-year-old male youth, who cannot be identified, was slated for a bail hearing Thursday in Chatham court.
Police are still seeking two other suspects: Terry St. Hill, 19, and a 17-year-old male, who cannot be identified. Both are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached, police said.

Region announces distribution task force for COVID-19 vaccine
There are 14 members from several local agencies

The Region of Waterloo has formed a COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force, which will be led by Deputy Chief Shirley Hilton with Waterloo Regional Police.
It will also be comprised of members of several agencies - including our local hospitals, public health, and both paramedic and fire services.
A release from officials said, The task force will ensure an efficient, equitable plan is in place for delivery of the immunization program.
The details were announced on Friday, ahead of Premier Doug Ford s news conference. He released details on the province s COVID-19 vaccine roll-out plan.
