A special forces helicopter was forced to make a dramatic emergency landing after it clipped a cruise ship during an anti-terrorism drill.
The training drill took a dangerous turn after the Black Hawk helicopter damaged its rotor blade, forcing the aircraft to land in a public park in Watson s Bay on Thursday.
Two special forces helicopters were taking part in an anti-terrorism training exercise, when one of the aircraft collided with the mast of the defence leased Captain Cook Cruise ship, the Daily Telegraph reported.

Missing millionaire and alleged fraudster Melissa Caddick likely had an exit plan if she was ever caught, according to a forensic psychologist.
The Sydney-based financial adviser disappeared on November 12 last year, just two days after police revealed she was being investigated for allegedly siphoning tens of millions of dollars from her clients.
Detectives have suggested they believe Ms Caddick is still alive, and are investigating whether she fled to Queensland.
