Auburn University establishes Transportation Research Institute
Auburn University is forming the Auburn University Transportation Research Institute. The institute, hosted and supported within Auburn’s Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, will provide greater visibility and a shared identity for all transportation-related and educational programs at the university.
It will foster continued growth and expansion of the overall transportation research programs and will help elevate these programs to a position of greater national prominence based on the scholarship generated by its participating faculty.
The institute will serve as an umbrella organization for units that are heavily involved in transportation research, including the National Center for Asphalt Technology, or NCAT, and its affiliated asphalt test track, the Highway Research Center, the Alabama Transportation Assistance Program and the GPS and Vehicle Dynamics Laboratory, or GAVLAB. Mustang Mach-E Deliveries Start in 2021 in Europe

The first round of 2021 Mustang Mach-E SUVs is rolling out now to customers across the United States. European customers don’t have long to wait, either. Ford says initial Mustang Mach-E deliveries in Europe will begin in 2021.
A batch of early production vehicles arrived in Norway this month with plans for test drives to get underway in January. Ford Norge the automaker’s arm in Norway put a picture up on its Instagram on Dec. 4 showing an auto transport trailer with seven Mustang Mach-Es on board. These vehicles as well as another 10 that arrived later are early production examples being used for media and customer test drives.
