An Espanola woman has not received the answers she was hoping for from the Espanola council about the snow removal bylaw.
Wanda Laplante and her neighbour Dennell Turgeon met with the council to discuss concerns about the lack of responses to five complaints made with the town over the last three years as to how she moves or removes snow.

An Espanola woman is hoping to meet with council to discuss the snow removal bylaw and what she perceives as harassment by the local bylaw enforcement agency hired by the municipality.
Wanda Laplante says she has spoken to the town office, but staff and council have made it clear they cannot speak beyond the bylaw.
Laplante has the option of going to court to fight the ticket issued by the bylaw officer and challenge him with harassment in the court setting.
