DC Police: Man identified suspected of shooting 3 women, killing 2 in Southeast

WASHINGTON The Metropolitan Police Department has identified a man who they believe shot three women, killing two, during a fire in Southeast D.C. earlier this week.
Police need your help in locating Keanan Christopher Turner, 32, of Forestville, Md. on charges including first-degree murder while armed and assault with intent to kill while armed.
D.C. police search for man charged with fatally shooting woman and her daughter Peter Hermann D.C. police are searching for a 32-year-old man in connection with a shooting Monday that left a woman and her adult daughter dead and another woman wounded at an apartment complex in Southeast Washington. Authorities said the apartment had been set on fire after the shootings, and that the adult daughter’s infant son was inside when the attack occurred. The 3-month-old was unharmed, police said. Keanan Christopher Turner, of Forestville, Md., has been charged in an arrest warrant with two counts of first-degree murder while armed and assault with intent to kill, according to police. Authorities have said the motive in the case was related to a domestic dispute.
Firefighters were called to the 2300 block of Good Hope Court off Good Hope Road around 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
When they arrived, they found one person with a gunshot wound outside the apartment.
Police said two other women were found shot inside the apartment.
Wanda Wright, 48, and Ebony Wright, 32, both of Southeast, died from their injuries.
Firefighters also located a three-month-old baby in the apartment.
