  Senior Correspondent,  bdnews24.com File Photo The Ministry of Religious Affairs has prohibited Sehri and Iftar at mosques in Ramadan in an effort to contain the surging coronavirus infection. ); } The ministry in a notice on Monday also issued instructions on praying in congregations at mosques following the health rules put in place by the government. To rein in an abnormal rise in the number of coronavirus infections and deaths across Bangladesh, the Prime Minister s Office has issued an 18-point instruction and the Cabinet Division provided several lockdown directives effective from Monday. The ministry mandated the conditions mentioned below for all who visit mosques to pray in congregation:

Azmat Commission underlines noting of all verbal instructions on official files Top Story April 4, 2021 ISLAMABAD: The Justice (R) Azmat Shaikh-led Broadsheet Commission underlined that it should be ensured that all verbal instructions given by any ministry or government functionary are recorded in writing on the note portion of the file record for future reference. The Commission also noted that the circumvention of the government’s systems and procedures was common, leading to serious lapses and causing financial losses and damage to the reputation of the country. “If the government’s rules and procedures had not been circumvented, these lapses could have been avoided. This would have saved the Government of Pakistan from damages in terms of loss to the exchequer and the country’s reputation,” read the report.

Instructions given to staff of free hearse, mother and child care vans Updated: Updated: Share Article AAA Various instructions have been given to people working for emergency response services including the 108 ambulance services in Coimbatore district as part of enforcing the Model Code of Conduct. The instructions were issued to those working for 108 ambulance service, free hearse service and free pick up and drop service for mother and child under the Janani Shishu Suraksha Karyakram (JSSK). Sources said the instructions were issued after rumours emerged from some parts of the State that political parties were misusing vans of these services to transport unaccounted money for election expenses and cash for vote.
