Karyn Finn to serve as the new vice president of Residential Treatment & Services. Finn has more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experiences in health care, higher education, and civic and nonprofit strategic planning. Prior to joining TFI, Finn served as director of community relations for KVC Health Systems and as program director of the Residential Treatment and Education Program at KVC Niles in Kansas City, Mo. As vice president of Residential Treatment & Services, Finn will be responsible for clinical and regulatory operations at TFI, as well as the mental health operations for Pathway Family Services. Finn received her Bachelor of Science from Tulane University and a Masters in Community Health Education from the University of Northern Iowa.

East Lancashire hospitals have received a donation of portable Quran Cubes for patients. The MP3 players in the shape of a cube play recitations and prayers from the Quran and were donated to the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust’s Chaplaincy Department These, alongside MP3 players pre-loaded with Islamic prayers and Quran recitations, have been used by the Spiritual Care Team to support patients at the Trust’s five hospitals – Royal Blackburn and Burnley General Teaching Hospitals, and Accrington Victoria, Clitheroe and Pendle Community Hospitals. Imam Fazal Hassan, Muslim Chaplaincy Co-ordinator, said: “We were delighted to receive these donations, which go a long way to provide the emotional support and spiritual healing for our Muslim inpatients.

Tee Grizzley s younger brother, Baby Grizzley, has been indicted on a federal gun charge only months after being released from prison.
Baby Grizzley, real name Marcellus Wallace, was charged as a result of an incident on December 8th, in which Wallace and a second man were pulled over by police. According to law enforcement, cops found an open alcohol container, marijuana, and two .45-caliber firearms in the vehicle.
Wallace and Nolan Dasgupta-Francis, aka Nolo, were charged with being felons in possession of a firearm. Wallace pleaded guilty to having open intoxicants and was scheduled to have a parole board hearing on January 13th, but it was pushed back due to pending criminal charges.

A Flint man, who spent over two decades of his life behind bars for charges that originated from a marijuana sale, was released Thursday morning and greeted by hugs from loved ones. I feel good. Twenty-five years is a long time, said Michael Thompson, after walking out of a Jackson prison facility.
Thompson, 69, was charged after selling marijuana to an informant in 1994. A subsequent search of his home led to weapons charges compounded with a habitual offender charge that would have kept him in prison for at least 42 years.
