The Chantry Island Cham-bettes virtual Christmas Home Tour raised $9,200, which they are donating to the x-ray fund.
The ladies of the Saugeen Memorial Hospital Auxiliary have announced they are committed to donating $51,000 over the next 3 years.
Which brings the total to $463,000, leaving only $37,800 left to be raised.

Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The 2020 United Way Campaign is currently underway. To date a total of $126,419 has been raised, which is 39% of the $320,000 goal. United Way Board of Directors are asking for your help during these unprecident times. Funds raised help 20 local partner agencies provide support and services to those in need in Effingham County. The global pandemic has greatly affected fundraising efforts as fundraiser events previously scheduled were cancelled due to COVID.
Prior to the pandemic, 1 out of 3 people used services provided by the agencies. Because of the pandemic, these agencies are serving more people in our community during these difficult times.
