At least one group has found the positive in the pandemic. The Workington and District Amateur Camera club has found that lockdown and Zoom have given members the chance to hear speakers from much further afield that would have been possible in real life when they would have had to physically appear at the club. Social officer Sue Phillips said the club is also holding extra social meetings on Zoom. We are also having extra Zoom social meetings along with tutorials and advice passed on from the more experienced to the newbies and not so experienced. It is proving to be a good time to learn while we cannot get out and about very far.
