Republican Assembly Majority Leader Says They Wonât Overturn Evers New Mask Order Again By Rob Sussman

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) The Republican Assembly Majority Leader says Republicans aren’t going to get into a back-and-forth with Governor Tony Evers over issuing repeat Coronavirus emergency orders and mask mandate extensions.
Last week, Republicans repealed one of the Governor’s orders only for him to re-issue an identical order later in the day. Rep. Jim Steineke says you shouldn’t expect them to do it again.
“We have done our job, we have come in, we have voted, we have shown where we’re at on this,” Steineke said in a sometimes contentious interview with WTAQ’s ‘Regular Joe Show’. “To do it over and over again, I don’t see the necessity of that.”

GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) â A northeast Wisconsin congressmen says impeaching former President Trump is the wrong move.
Republican Congressman Mike Gallagher drew controversy earlier this month when he blamed President Trump for the riot at the US Capitol on January 6th.
âI think he bears responsibility for telling those people something that wasnât true,â Gallagher said Monday on WTAQâs âThe Regular Joe Showâ. âWhich is that [Vice President] Mike Pence had the authority to overturn the results of the election on January 6th.â
