The Governments strategy on remote working presents major opportunities for the regeneration and repopulation of rural villages.
The Covid-19 pandemic has seen a lot of people move to remote working at home, and for many that has also meant moving their homes out of congested cities to more rural areas.
The coastal town of Kilkee in west Clare, so popular during the summer, sees a major exodus of people during the winter.
However many people who have holiday homes there have now made it their permanent home because of the opportunities presented by remote working.
