The 2018/19 PSL Golden Boot winner Mwape Musonda opened his account in Saudi Arabia in style with an emphatic goalscoring performance on Wednesday.
Musonda (29) completed a loan move from UAE Arabian Gulf League side Hatta Club to Saudi Arabian second division outfit Al-Sahel FC earlier this month and has hit the ground running for his new club.
Following his move from Black Leopards, the Zambia international struggled for goals during his spell in the UAE but appears to have rediscovered his form after netting twice in Al-Sahel s 2-1 victory over Al Draih on Wednesday.
Musonda, who also played for Orlando Pirates and Golden Arrows in the DStv Premiership, netted twice in the first half to help his relegation-threatened side spring an upset on their more-fancied opponents and snap a six-match winless run in the league.

Just months after completing a move to the United Arab Emirates, 2018/19 PSL Golden Boot winner Mwape Musonda appears to have found a new club in the Middle East.
Former Black Leopards star Musonda completed a move to UAE Arabian Gulf League side Hatta Club in October last year, but appears to have been moved on by manager Vladimir Vermezovic after scoring just once in 11 league appearances for the Emirati outfit.
Hatta confirmed the signing of Nahir Besara last week on a deal that will run until the end of the season, with the Swedish forward taking Musonda s spot in the club s registered list of players, and the league s records showing the 30-year-old is no longer part of the squad list.
