Good news for independent seniors worried about COVID-19.
Rtd. Gen. Rick Hiller, chair of Ontario’s COVID-19 Vaccine Distribution Task Force, said Friday 155,000 doses of Pfizer vaccines arrived in Ontario this week ahead of more next week as the province plans to begin vaccinating independent seniors across Ontario starting next month.

Struggling with vaccine shipment delays, Hillier said by mid-March, the province will begin notifying Ontario residents aged 80 and over with cards mailed to their private homes to inform them when and where they can get their vaccinations through health units, pharmacies, hospitals and family doctors.
