Morissey, a 23-year-old California mother of two, disappeared in late March while vacationing in Miami. Indian Country Today reports that Morrisey s mother, Darnella Melancon, of Yuma, Arizona, traveled to Florida to help search for her daughter, who is a citizen of the Fort Yuma Quechan Indian Tribe. Miami Police Assistant Chief Armando Aguilar says there s no evidence Morissey s in danger, but it s unusual for her to be gone for so long without contacting anyone.
