Mother charged in 2-year-old s death in Bayfield County rollover
A Bayfield woman is accused of the reckless homicide of her 2-year-old daughter and of causing great bodily harm to her 4-year-old daughter, 6-year-old son and 15-year-old sister in a one-car rollover in which she was the driver and the only pers.

Four people, including three children, were ejected from a vehicle Monday, July 23, 2012, after the Chevy Blazer they were riding in left Wisconsin Highway 13 and rolled just north of Washburn, the Bayfield County Sheriff s Office reported. A 2-year-old from Bayfield was killed. The girl and the other passengers in the crash were not using seat belts or child restraints, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol. BAY CITY, MI A Kentucky man charged with two misdemeanors stemming from a July 4 crash on Interstate 75 that killed his teenage relative has accepted a plea deal.
Joseph H. Cozart Jr., 26, on Friday, Dec. 18, appeared before Bay County District Judge Timothy J. Kelly and pleaded no contest to one count of operating a motor vehicle with the presence of a controlled substance-marijuana. In exchange, the prosecution agreed to dismiss a charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
