Ames Tribune An Ames man accused of entering women s Campustown apartments and watching them sleep pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree burglary and two counts of stalking earlier this month. Trenton Williams, 30, was arrested by Ames police in March following an investigation that began in May 2019. College women had reported multiple burglaries and trespassing incidents at apartments in the 100 and 200 blocks of Hyland Avenue and the 100 block of Campus Avenue, according to a police news release. For the two stalking counts, Williams admitted in his guilty pleas to trespassing into two women s apartments and watching them for his own sexual arousal.
