Taipei, Aug. 13 (CNA) The ties between Taiwan and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) have grown steadily, especially over the past two years, the Caribbean country's embassy in Taiwan has affirmed as the two countries celebrate the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

Many vulnerable households in Eswatini are facing challenges in maintaining livelihoods due to the severe impact of COVID-19. In response, the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is collaborating with World Vision Eswatini (WVE) to implement the Cash Assistance Project to Complement Maternal and Infant Health Care Improvement Project. The project officially started on July 15, 2021, and will aid vulnerable pregnant women to improve their health and nutritional status during their pregnancy.

SICA: Entrepreneurship and innovation key to post-pandemic economic development
Central America: 04th May, 2021.According to the report of the Regional Centre for the Promotion of SME´s (CENPROMYPE), a specialized body of the Central American Integration System (SICA), entrepreneurship and innovation are fundamental drivers of economic development in SICA member states.
The report further notes that trends in competitive indicators for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the region remain constant, with a stable outlook.
The Doing Business index describes the legal norms that States establish for doing business and the protection they provide to companies at different productive levels. For this reason, the Regional Center s report points out that improving productivity, increasing the level of competitiveness and management are key to the development of SME´s.
