All-Pro TE George Kittle trusts 49ers to pick right QB By Zac Wassink | Last updated 4/28/21
San Francisco 49ers All-Pro tight end George Kittle has campaigned for Jimmy Garoppolo to remain his starting quarterback on multiple occasions over the past several months but can also see the writing on the wall. The 49ers traded to acquire the third overall pick of the NFL Draft and, per most mock drafts, will use that asset to choose Garoppolo s eventual replacement.
While appearing on NFL Network s Good Morning Football on Wednesday, Kittle backed head coach Kyle Shanahan and general manager John Lynch to get this vital decision right.

Kyler Murray sits as the foundational cornerstone of the Arizona Cardinals franchise. As such, the quarterback s opinion matters on a vast array of topics, including the draft.
Joining NFL Network s
Good Morning Football on Tuesday, Murray was asked whether he has any input on selections and whether GM Steve Keim considers the QB s opinion when making choices. I do believe I think I have an influence in it, Murray responded. I don t know why I wouldn t. If you ve got a guy at quarterback, you trust him and you want him to be the face of the franchise for a lot of years, I think he should have an influence. Everything is technically built around the quarterback. I think I have that relationship with Steve and Kliff (Kingsbury). I m excited to see what we do on Thursday.

The Los Angeles Rams offense slipped the last couple of seasons under Sean McVay, particularly the passing game in 2020.
Without a deep threat and a quarterback who struggled off-script, the Rams offense finished 22nd in drive success rate last season and 22nd in points scored. After two years of sea-changing success in McVay s first two seasons, the Rams have struggled to live up to those expectations.
To reverse that trend, the Rams imported two key veterans: quarterback Matthew Stafford and wideout DeSean Jackson.
Joining NFL Network s
Good Morning Football on Thursday, Rams receiver Robert Woods said he s looking forward to what the quarterback with the big arm can bring to McVay s offense.

Taking a look at the week of April 5 on Arrowhead Pride. had made.
NFL free agency began one month ago Monday, when the league’s legal tampering period began. While the free agency period is generally thought to extend only through the NFL Draft, it actually extends throughout the league year; it’s just that free agent players signed
after the draft don’t count in the compensatory draft picks formula for the following season.
So while free agent signings across the league have now slowed to a trickle, it’s still possible even likely that the Kansas City Chiefs will sign more of them.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Demarcus Robinson caught on with the team as a fourth-rounder back in 2016 and ever since, he has been a staple in the form of a role player. When his rookie contract expired after the 2019 championship season, Robinson explored free agency but ultimately ended up back with the Chiefs on a four-year qualifying contract.
Robinson once again explored
this offseason, and though another team showed interest, he once again felt his best option was to sign a one-year contract (for the veteran salary benefit) with the Chiefs.
