The Browns opened Day 2 of the 2021 NFL Draft by adding another top defensive prospect to their defense.
Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, whom the Browns drafted 52nd overall after a trade with the Carolina Panthers, is coming to Cleveland.
Here are five things to know about the newest addition to the linebackers room.
1. Owusu-Koramoah became one of the top linebacker prospects of the 2021 NFL Draft after three solid seasons at Notre Dame, where he totaled seven sacks, 24.5 tackles for a loss, five forced fumbles and eight passes defensed. Owusu-Koramoah solidified his status as a top defensive prospect in the draft in 2020, when he recorded 1.5 sacks and a career-high three forced fumbles.

The Philadelphia Eagles selected Louisiana Tech DT Milton Williams in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

The Eagles decided to add to their defensive line rotation in the third round of the NFL Draft on Friday, selecting Louisiana Tech defensive tackle Milton Williams with the 73rd overall pick.
Williams’ selection came after the Eagles traded back three spots with the Carolina Panthers. The Eagles traded the 70th overall pick to Carolina to acquire the No. 73 and No. 191 (6th) picks.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Notre Dame linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah was so grateful the Browns traded up to No. 52 to draft him in the second round late Friday night that he got right down to business.
“I told my mom I’m about to go outside and run on the beach, maybe run a mile or two,’ he said on a late-evening Zoom from his home in Virginia. “It’s a glorious feeling. A monumental feeling. I’m so glad that the coaches gave me an opportunity to show why I was supposed to be where I’m supposed to be.

With the 111th pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals have selected Tulane Green Wave defensive end Cameron Sample.
Admittedly, I didn’t know who this was, but our film guru, Patrick Carlisle, immediately called it a nice pick. And NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah said Sample was his second-ranked defensive end coming into Day 3.
Hall of Fame career confirmed.
This past season, the 6-3, 267-pound Sample earned First-Team All-American Athletic Conference honors (the conference Cincinnati OWNS) after recoding 52 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, five sacks and three pass breakups in 11 starts).
In 2019, he started all 13 games and racked up 44 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks and four pass breakups. He started 11 games in 2018 while notching 40 tackles , six tackles for loss and four sacks, despite being plagued by an ankle injury.
