Maddie Raymond s education in racing came courtesy of some of the biggest stables in the game, including Lindsay Park, Willie Mullins, Lindsey Smith and Darren Weir, where she had a direct involvement in Prince Of Penzance s Melbourne Cup triumph.
Based at Warrnambool, Raymond has now made the move to go out on her own and recently scored the biggest win of her emerging training career with victory in the Werribee Cup.
She talks to us about her journey in racing, THAT first Tuesday in November and the best and worst pieces of training advice that she s received.
