KUALA LUMPUR, May 18 ― Bursa Malaysia remained mixed at mid-day today with the key index in the negative territory amid lack of buying momentum in heavyweights.
At 12.30pm, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) eased 1.34 points to 1,582.12 from yesterday’s close of 1,583.46.
The market bellwether, which opened 0.21 of-a-point weaker at 1,583.25, moved between 1,580.25 and 1,588.17 throughout the morning session.
The overall market breadth was positive with gainers thumping losers 550 to 347, while 431 counters were unchanged, 875 untraded and five others suspended.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 14 The benchmark index on Bursa Malaysia stayed in positive territory at mid-morning today, after recording some volatile trading pattern, amid mixed market sentiment.
At 11.06am, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) added 0.26 of-a-point to 1,597.97 from Tuesday’s close of 1,597.71.
On the broader market, advancers led decliners 430 versus 420, while 920 counters were unchanged, 409 untraded and 10 others suspended.
Total volume stood at 2.7 billion shares worth RM1.13 billion.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 5 Bursa Malaysia turned easier at mid-morning today, weighed down by selling in selected heavyweight stocks.
At 11.00am, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) pared its earlier gains, sliding 0.52 of-a-point from last Friday’s close of 1,585.35.
The index opened 0.46 points easier at 1,586.51.
However, on the broader market, gainers led losers 477 to 400, while 425 counters were unchanged, 829 untraded and eight others suspended.

KUALA LUMPUR, April 1 Bursa Malaysia opened higher today with the key index rising 0.70 per cent, led by Public Bank and Top Glove.
At 9.05am, the benchmark FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) jumped 11.03 points to 1,584.54 from Wednesday’s close of 1,573.51.
The index opened 6.46 points higher at 1,579.97.
On the broader market, gainers led losers 295 to 155, while 266 counters were unchanged, 1,408 untraded and nine others suspended.
