Pakistani community hails inauguration of Pakistan’s new private airline AirSial Dec 23, 2020 Members of the Pakistani community in Qatar have warmly welcomed the inauguration of Pakistan’s third private airline, AirSial. Dubbed as the ‘Pride of Pakistan’, AirSial is the brainchild of members of Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Earlier, Sialkot’s business community provided funds for the Sialkot International Airport that was completed in 2007 at a cost of around Rs4 billion. Sialkot is Pakistan’s 13th largest city by population and is located in north-east of Punjab. With the nearby cities of Gujranwala and Gujrat, Sialkot forms part of the so-called ‘Golden Triangle’ of industrial cities with export-oriented economies.

After the deal, Ryobi International Logistics Viet Nam owns 23.7 per cent of the capital at Transimex Corporation. Ryobi International Logistics Viet Nam has replaced Casco Investments Limited in the shareholder structure of Transimex Corporation. On December 14, Casco Investments Limited offered the entirety of more than 17.2 million shares for sale, equal to 24 per cent of capital. The shares were completely sold on the day and Casco Investments Limited was no longer the major shareholder at Transimex Corporation.
