There are thousands and thousands of plays ran each and every season across the NFL.
The Vikings, for example, had 1,082 total offensive snaps in 2020, while Minnesota s defense was on the field for 1,074 plays.
As with every year, there were a few plays that especially stood out. Take Dalvin Cook s 50-yard screen pass for a score in Minnesota s win at Lambeau Field in Week 8. Or Eric Kendricks diving interception against the Cowboys in Week 11.
But a pair of plays made by Vikings wide receivers are among the best of the best, and they are now up for the NFL Play of the Year for the 2020 season.

Good Morning, It’s Thursday!
I got home late this morning so words up here no one reads will be short. mrs rob is going to do a 50k this weekend, we had plans to go together but I have other family obligations keeping me around the house. The kids and I will be here all together, we’re already planning something to put on the smoker (brisket I think) plus we’ll grill Friday through Sunday. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Thursday, one more day until weekend eve.

Whether you’re at the end of your coffee, your day, your week or even your rope, welcome to Whitt’s End 1.8.21 …
38 points. 13 assists. 9 rebounds. 4 steals. In 5,260 feet of elevation. I’d say Luka Doncic is in decent shape after all.
Through a couple weeks, Luka is Luka. Soon Kristaps Porzingis will – fingers crossed – return to being Kristaps Porzingis. But what really excites me about the Dallas Mavericks’ 2021 potential is Willie Cauley-Stein. He’s a 7-footer with a seemingly 20-foot wingspan. He can block shots. He’ll protect the rim. Take a hard, necessary foul. He might make a 3-pointer.
