In terms of senior management, today, Natasha Cazenave takes office as the new Executive Director of ESMA, having been appointed by the Board of Supervisors for a five-year term, renewable once. While at the end of May we said goodbye to Verena Ross, our Executive Director for the past 10 years. She has been a model for many, professional, approachable, and a powerful voice for women in finance.

Andy Saperstein have been named Co-Presidents of Morgan Stanley, effective June 1, 2021. Pick leads Morgan Stanley’s Institutional Securities business and will now also be responsible for Morgan Stanley’s international operations and become the Co-Head of Firm Strategy and Execution. Saperstein leads Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management business and will now be responsible for all Wealth Management channels. He will also assume responsibility for Firm-wide Marketing globally.
Dan Simkowitz, Head of Investment Management, will in addition be Co-Head of Firm Strategy and Execution.

Natasha Cazenave was named executive director at European financial services watchdog European Securities and Markets Authority, effective June 1.
Ms. Cazenave will replace
Ms. Cazenave will serve a five-year term, which can be extended once. I welcome today s appointment of Natasha Cazenave as ESMA s new executive director, said Anneli Tuominen, interim chairwoman of ESMA, in a news release Thursday. She brings with her a wealth of experience from the public and private sectors, which will benefit ESMA as it enters its second decade.
Ms. Cazenave is currently deputy secretary general and head of policy and international affairs directorate at the French financial services watchdog Autorite des Marches Financiers. A spokesman could not be reached to provide details about her replacement.
