John Pfeil âJPâ Sippel, of Cibolo, Texas, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at the age of 71, after succumbing to illness. A Navy veteran, hardware store owner, dancing enthusiast, cook, motorcyclist, and HAM radio operator, John could never be accused of not living life to its fullest. Most important to John, though, he was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to so many.
John was born to John A. Sippel and Grace Josephine Pfeil Sippel on November 9, 1949. John grew up in Cibolo and lived on the same street, Sippel Avenue, almost all of his life. As a young boy during the summers and school breaks, he, his parents, and two brothers would load up the homemade camper and travel the western states, going from rest stop to rest stop. John later went off to college at the University of Texas at Austin for a few years before enlisting in the Navy during Vietnam. He married Janet Ball in 1970, and they spent 23 years together before going their s

Dimos spent 24 years working with his father, Steve Dimos, as the Dad s Car Care chain grew to multiple locations. He got to know customers and started helping some hunt and shop online for specialty, classic and high-end vehicles.
Although he wasn t a dealer, Phil Dimos enjoyed the search and helping customers find the vehicle of their dreams. I just have a passion looking for cars like that, he said.
Two years ago, Steve Dimos decided to sell his car wash chain. Son Phil debated his next step and decided he wanted to try a different side of the automotive business.

The New York State Police are investigating two separate incidents and are asking the public for help. One incident was an alleged theft of items from the Lowe s in Herkimer and the theft of a trailer in the Town of Hastings.
State Police report that two individuals walked into the Lowe s Hardware Store on Lowe s Boulevard in Herkimer and grabbed several items from the store shelves. Troopers say the larceny occurred just before 1:30 p.m. on December 26th, 2020. The two men, pictured below, were seen on camera taking four cordless nail guns and walking out of the store with them, without paying. The value of the stolen items came to $1,426.00.
