Vermont Fish & Wildlife’s Big Game Management Plan for 2020-2030 is Available Online News Provided By Share This Article Vermont’s Big Game Management Plan for 2020-2030 is now available on the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department’s website www.vtfishandwildlife.com. “The department has a long history of managing Vermont’s big game species using the best available science that is informed by a robust public input process,” said Fish and Wildlife Commissioner Louis Porter.  “For the past twenty years, the management of Vermont’s four big game wildlife species – white-tailed deer, black bear, moose, and wild turkey has been coordinated by a comprehensive Big Game Management Plan, and this is our latest, proactive guide for the next decade.”

Robert Hubbard of Warwick, MA Wins Vermont s Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License Lottery News Provided By Share This Article Robert Hubbard, 57, of Warwick, MA is the lucky winner of the 2020 Vermont Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License Lottery.  Mr. Hubbard will be entitled to hunt and fish in Vermont for free for the rest of his life.  He was drawn as the winner from among 19,419 lottery tickets purchased in 2020.  The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department holds the drawing annually. “The Lifetime License Lottery gives anyone, resident or nonresident, an opportunity to win a Vermont hunting and fishing license that is valid for the recipient’s lifetime,” said Fish and Wildlife Commissioner Louis Porter.  “Even if you don’t win the license, by applying, you know you have contributed to fish and wildlife conservation in Vermont.”
