The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to a hospital in Kolkata after complaining of chest pain on Wednesday.
Ganguly was rushed to the Apollo Hospital in Kolkata after he complained of uneasiness last night and experienced mind chest pain this afternoon, according to reports.

He was feeling dizzy and had some discomfort in the chest. So, he was rushed to the hospital for further diagnosis, he said. He had chest discomfort today and he is taken to Apollo today. Dr Saptarshi Basu and Dr Saroj Mondal are attending. Dr Aftab Khan will do the stenting tomorrow in presence of Dr Devi Shetty, Woodlands Hospital said.

Meanwhile, Apollo Gleneagles hospital has released a statement on Ganguly s condition, saying his vital parameters are stable.

Sourav Ganguly, former India captain and current Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president, was taken to the Apollo Gleneagles Hospital in Kolkata after he complained of chest pain on Wednesday. Ganguly had undergone angioplasty earlier this month in Kolkata at the Woodlands Hospital. At the time of his discharge, doctors had said that a decision on more stents will be taken later. A nine-member medical board of the Woodlands Hospital had on January 4 concluded that angioplasty on Ganguly s other two coronary blockages, LAD and OM2, will be done at a later stage.
