Dr. Joel B. Hellmann and Trinity EMS President John P. Chemaly recently retired from the Home Health Foundation board of trustees.
Since joining the board in 2004, the Foundation said in a statement, Hellmann’s fellow members have relied on his clinical expertise regarding services, insights into healthcare trends and as an advocate for patients and the wider community. A resident of Methuen, he served on numerous committees including finance, compensation and strategic planning.
In his 12 years on the board, Chemaly of Chelmsford supported Home Health Foundation with his “keen business knowledge, healthcare industry passion and community advocacy.” His committee involvement included governance and nominating, compensation and strategic planning.

Julia Silverio of Silverio Insurance Agency has been named as the recipient of this year’s David Tibbetts Economic Impact Award.
Silverio is a longtime small business leader, Lawrence’s first Latina City Councilor and a mentor and advocate. She will be recognized during a virtual annual meeting of the Lawrence Partnership, Thursday, Feb. 25, from 10-11 a.m.
“Julia’s impact has been felt by so many people, in so many ways, over so many years. She fully embodies the Lawrence Partnership values, the spirit of the Dave Tibbetts Award, and our community’s assets,” reads a statement from the Lawrence Partnership.

For those looking to hear from, and learn more about, Lawrence Acting Mayor Kendrys Vasquez have an opportunity when the Merrimack Valley Chamber of Commerce presents, what it calls, a “virtual conversation” in February.
Vasquez, who had been serving as Lawrence’s City Council president, became the city’s acting mayor when Mayor Daniel Rivera was named president and chief executive officer of MassDevelopment.
Vasquez details his plans for the city and takes questions Friday, Feb. 19, from noon-1 p.m. The cost for Merrimack Valley Chamber members is $5 or $10 for nonmembers.
