Norma Kamali debuts NORMALIFE HOME, a bold collection of design objects for the home.  At long last, Norma Kamali is branching out into home design and interiors. Debuting on June 15, the fashion designer’s first-ever home collection, called NORMALIFE HOME, will officially roll out at the end of the year, with equal parts functional furnishings and sleek accessories: a pillow, a rug, a chair, a cube, and more that will be available in five patterns.   Adjaye Associates designs a London memorial dedicated to Black women shot by police. The British-Ghanian architect David Adjaye has designed a memorial in London for Cherry Groce, a Black woman shot by the city’s public police in her home in 1985. Construction will soon begin on Memorial Day in Windrush Square in South London. Including a planted roof, the triangular-shaped plinth will have seating at different heights carved into all three sides.

Peugeot unveils modern update to its iconic lion’s head emblem. French auto manufacturer Peugeot released the 11th update to its lion emblem since 1850. Conceived by the in-house design lab, the latest iteration of the logo is inspired by the concept of time and takes cues from the 1960s version. It features a new take on the iconic lion’s head inside a coat of arms and is intended to reflect the brand’s transition to electric vehicles by 2025. Are disposables the next Instagram? For those who are old enough to feel nostalgic about taking party photos with a disposable camera, the new photo-sharing app Dispo might be for you. Though it’s still in beta, users are flocking to the app for its retro aesthetic and lack of editing tools or captions. The kicker: the images “develop” overnight and hit your phone in the morning raw and unfiltered. Just like the good ole days.
