A man is facing charges in connection with a shooting from Oct. 4, 2019, in Uptown.
A man has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting at a car carrying a woman and toddler in Uptown on the North Side in 2019.
Fabian Regalado, 30, is also charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm in the attack, which happened Oct. 4, 2019, in the 4600 block of North Sheridan Road, Chicago police said.
About 2:16 p.m. that day, a 37-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl were in a parked BMW when Regalado pulled up in a red pickup and fired at the BMW, police said.
The BMW was hit multiple times but the woman and the child were not injured, police said, adding that the incident was domestic-related.
Burglar breaks into Lake View apartments while victims are sleeping

In each incident, a person breaks into an apartment while the victims are sleeping and takes items that can be carried easily, Chicago police said.
The burglaries happened:
April 6 or 7 in the 800 block of Buckingham Place; and
April 7 in the 3300 block of North Clark Street.
Police did not immediately have a description of the suspect.

Tulsa Police arrest a man after his car crashed into a motel

TULSA, Okla â Tulsa Police responded to the area of North Sheridan Road and East Admiral Place for reports of a car running into a motel.
When officers arrived they found the car had crashed through a motel room wall.
The Tulsa Fire Department responded to reinforce the structure and remove the car from the wall.
The driver, Duane Harper, was checked out by EMSA in an ambulance, but refused to come out when officers attempted to remove him.
Harper was wanted on a warrant in Tennessee for a parole violation on a sex crimes conviction.
