A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said there’s two crews on the scene at Tung Yeen Street, Park Avenue who arrived at 4.15pm. Police and ambulance crews attended the scene. “Looks like no one was injured,” a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said. Paramedics have now left the scene. BREAKING: Woman reportedly assaulted at Rocky liquor store

Premium Content UPDATE, 7.45PM: A man has been taken into custody after he allegedly assaulted a woman outside of a North Rockhampton liquor store at about 6.15 on Monday, April 26. It is understood he was reported to have grabbed the victim by the neck, and she was screaming for him to stop. A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the woman fled the scene afterwards, but she was later located. The man is currently assisting police with enquiries, but no charges have been laid at this point.   EARLIER: Police are responding to reports of an assault at a North Rockhampton liquor store that happened at about 6.15 on April 26.

Paramedics, police and tow trucks were on scene at the Feez St smash just after 4pm. A report from the scene indicated all occupants had self-extricated from the vehicles. Minor to moderate damage to the vehicles was reported. A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said no-one required transport to hospital after the crash. Rocky council responds to intersection safety concerns

Premium Content Subscriber only A two-car smash at a busy North Rockhampton intersection on Monday prompted a nearby resident to call for action to improve safety. But the local council which is responsible for this stretch of road, has produced statistics which indicate the intersection may not be as bad as some perceive. One of the vehicles was suspected stolen after authorities received a report that several juveniles were seen exiting it and fleeing the crash scene. Following The Morning Bulletin’s coverage of the incident, local resident Kaye Wickham raised her concerns on social media. “This intersection is around the corner from us and is notorious for accidents,” she said.
