Biscuit Belly, our new restaurant specializing in extreme biscuit sandwiches, will be opening, if all goes as planned, on July 17, in the Promenade development. The Louisville-based restaurant will be open for breakfast and lunch only and will feature items such as The Rockwell Supreme – a buttermilk fried chicken breast with cheddar cheese, goetta sausage gravy, bacon and an egg on a biscuit, and the Edgy Veggie with fried green tomatoes, mushroom gravy, cheddar cheese and an over-easy egg on a biscuit. Other non-biscuit items such as loaded breakfast tots or hash browns, French toast and fruit cups will be available. You’ll also find Tractor Craft Soda here.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – This Sunday, the sky will be lit up with fireworks for the Fourth of July, but how do you to get rid those fireworks once the celebration is over?
City officials say it’s important that Lincoln residents know how to properly dispose of used fireworks in order to reduce the possibility of explosions or water pollution.
A narcotics investigation was reported at midnight Tuesday in the 3300 block of Community Boulevard.
Driving while intoxicated was reported at 12:04 a.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Doris Road.
Resisting arrest or search was reported at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday in the 2900 block of Illinois Avenue.
A criminal warrant arrest was made for another agency at 3:36 a.m. Wednesday in the vicinity of Conder Street and Oak Hill Drive.
Unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon was reported at 4:28 a.m. Wednesday in the 4600 block of Stallion Drive.
Driving while intoxicated was reported at 4:29 a.m. Wednesday in the vicinity of South Fort Hood Street and West Jasper Drive.
