Work begins on Highway 35 in Hudson
HUDSON Reconstruction of Highway 35 in Hudson begins on Monday, April 26.Â
The work is on Highway 35 from Front Street in Hudson to North End Road in the village of North Hudson.Â
Work includes areas of resurfacing, reconstruction, concrete repair, curb and gutter replacement, utility replacements and more.Â
Nonlocal traffic will be detoured around the area using Interstate 94, Highway 94 and Minnesota Highway 36/Wisconsin Highway 64.Â
Parking will be unavailable on Second Street in downtown Hudson. Parking space will be used to keep traffic lanes open during work.

HUDSON The Highway 35 street project running through downtown will start the week of April 26.Â
The project will run the length of Second Street, starting at Front Street and extending to North End Road in the village of North Hudson.Â
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation and the city of Hudson are working together on the project, with the DOT focused on the street reconstruction and the city taking the opportunity to update utilities.Â
âThis project is kind of unique because thereâs so many different pieces to it,â City Engineer Dean Chamberlain said.Â

Sections
The work will cover several sections of Second Street in Hudson and Sixth Street in North Hudson, including:Â
