SliceFest 2021: Alabama festival is back with pizza, beer, JJ Grey & Mofro

SliceFest is coming back to Birmingham this year, and will offer its usual crowd-pleasing lineup of bands, beer and pizza on Oct. 2.
One music act has been announced JJ Grey and Mofro and advance tickets are on sale via the festival website. Prices are $35 general admission, $150 VIP. (VIP tickets include access to a separate lounge, restrooms and bar; plus catered food and a live music feed from the stage.)

David is one of the most iconic studio musicians ever, as bassist with Muscle Shoals’ Skynyrd-touted collective The Swampers. Patterson is one of the most iconic Southern songwriters of the last 25 years, singing, playing guitar and steering Drive-By Truckers’ raucous woke rock.

Blackberry Smoke/North Mississippi Allstars
A double-bill of acclaimed Southern rock groups, Blackberry Smoke and North Mississippi Allstars, are set to play Bert s Back Porch in Port Charlotte. The Atlanta-based Blackberry Smoke has scored No. 1 Billboard country albums such as Holding All the Roses and Like an Arrow, and plan to release their new record You Hear Georgia next month.
