There were 42 bookings at San Joaquin County Jail in the 24 hours ending at 8 a.m. Thursday. At that time, there were 1,321 people being held at the jail, which has an official capacity of 1,550. When the jail is full, some inmates may be released early.

Weapon arrest: At 2:47 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to a report of a person brandishing a firearm. They located the suspect, conducted a traffic stop and found a firearm upon a search inside his vehicle. Ignacio Musino, 29, was arrested on suspicion of brandishing and weapons charges.
A Grinch or maybe even two, stole a 200 pound, hand carved, eagle from the front yard of a home in Rome.
The Rome Police Department is asking for help from the public. We are investigating the theft of this incredible six foot 200lb wood carving.

The carving was dragged across Dawn Riggs Pace s yard on North Madison Street over the weekend. Got tire marks on our lawn, she wrote on Facebook. If anyone gets this nice Christmas present just know it’s a stolen piece.
Pace is asking neighbors if the theft was caught on any security cameras.
We need Christmas more than ever in 2020, so it should come as no surprise that the Grinch was spotted trying to steal the joyous holiday right here in Central New York.
Residents of Oswego caught the Grinch in the act of stealing Christmas last week, and luckily officers from the Oswego Police Department were nearby to take him into custody.

They sent him to the local YMCA, of course, where he spent the day with the kids in the afternoon Pre-K and K-12 Extension Programs. He read the kids a book and decorated cookies with them, getting in the holiday spirit and transforming into quite the loveable Grinch.
